
Mashed potatoes with chanterelles

Such a simple yet very appetizing dish. This is a classic mashed potato recipe with chanterelles, which can be varied with a sauce (such as cream or garlic sauce) and various spices to taste. Serve the dish with vegetables.

1. Wash the mushrooms several times and dry them. During winter, frozen mushrooms can be used.

2. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Meanwhile, peel and dice the onion into small cubes.

3. Place the onion on the skillet first and sauté until translucent, then add the mushrooms. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add salt, pepper, and spices to taste.

4. Peel the potatoes, cut into medium pieces, pour boiling water over them, and place on the stove. After boiling, add salt and cook until done.

5. At the end of frying, add herbs to the pan. Mix, remove from heat. Cover with a lid and let it steep.
