Mashed potatoes with shrimp
Description
The recipe won't take much time. To make delicious mashed potatoes, the key is choosing the right potatoes. I always use yellow potatoes that cook soft and fluffy. I usually buy pre-cooked, but frozen shrimp, so they just need to be thawed. Sometimes I sauté the shrimp in butter until golden brown—it's up to you which way you prefer. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Peel the potatoes, cut them into pieces, and boil until cooked.
- 2
Step 2

Then drain the water and add half of the butter; you can also add a little sour cream (optional).
- 3
Step 3

Then add the herbs, season with salt and pepper, and pour in the cream.
- 4
Step 4

Cover the finished puree to keep it warm and set aside. Meanwhile, poach the egg.

Step 5

I recommend boiling the shrimp. If desired, you can also fry them. Melt the remaining half of the butter and pour it over the shrimp. Serve the mashed potatoes with shrimp and egg, sprinkled with finely chopped herbs.
