Potato casserole with sour cream

   1. Thoroughly wash the potatoes under running water, peel them, and carefully slice into medium-thick slices. Salt the potatoes and rub them by hand to evenly distribute the salt.

   2. Take a baking dish and grease the bottom with a small piece of butter. Arrange the potato slices evenly in the dish, laying them in an overlapping pattern resembling roof tiles. Once all the potatoes are arranged, pour sour cream over the top.

   3. Place the casserole in an oven preheated to 200 degrees and bake for about 1–1.5 hours, until a golden crust forms on top. Remove the casserole from the oven, cut it into portions, and serve hot.
