Cheesy potato casserole in a multicooker

60 min4 serv.20 февр. 2026 г.

Description

The recipe won't take much time. This casserole is very filling and can easily serve as a complete hot dish on its own. However, for those who can't imagine a meal without meat or fish, this potato dish can be served as a side. Just don't overdo it, as the dish is quite caloric :) Serve hot.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

Peel the potatoes, cut into small pieces. Season with salt to taste, add spices and mix.

  2. 2

    Step 2

Peel and chop the onion, press the garlic.

  3. 3

    Step 3

Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl and select the "Frying" program. Once the oil is heated, add the onion and garlic and fry for a couple of minutes.

  4. 4

    Step 4

Add the potatoes and continue frying, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes.

  5. 5

    Step 5

While the vegetables are frying, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt in a small bowl. Add milk and grated cheese. Mix until smooth. Add chopped herbs if desired.

  6. 6

    Step 6

Pour the resulting mixture over the potatoes. Cover the multicooker with a lid and set the "Baking" program for 15 minutes.

  7. 7

    Step 7

Carefully remove the casserole, flip it over, and brown the other side for another 10 minutes. Then keep it on low heat for 5–7 minutes more—now it's ready to serve.
