Baked Potato with Minced Meat
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I find it terribly boring to simply bake potatoes in layers with minced meat. But if you make potato boats and fill them with meat filling, you get a very original and hearty dish that can serve as either an appetizer or a main course. For this dish, you can use any ready-made minced meat, such as pork or chicken. Grated cheese will help create a delicious crust on top of the boats. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Add garlic to the minced meat, season with salt, and mix in sour cream.
- 3
Step 3

Wash the potatoes thoroughly and boil them in their skins (about 20 minutes for medium-sized potatoes).
- 4
Step 4

Cut the boiled potatoes in half and carefully remove the pulp inside, leaving thin walls (while making sure the boat shape is preserved).
- 5
Step 5

Add the potato pulp to the minced meat and mix. You can also add salt to taste if desired.
- 6
Step 6

Place the filled potato boats on a baking sheet.
- 7
Step 7

Fill with the filling and place a thin piece of butter on top.
- 8
Step 8

If there isn't enough potato, you can shape the remaining filling into patties and simply bake them. Sprinkle the boats with grated cheese on top and place them in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20 minutes.

Step 9

You can serve the cooked potatoes, garnished with herbs.
