Potatoes with pork in a multicooker

60 min4 serv.19 февр. 2026 г.

Description

The recipe won't take much time. Meat with potatoes is the most delicious and simple lunch you could wish for. To prepare potatoes with pork in a multicooker, I recommend using yellow potatoes—they mash better and make the stew thicker. I use pork that's not too fatty. I also add pumpkin (if I have the chance to get it), which turns out very original and tasty. But this is optional—just a matter of personal preference. Serve hot.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients. Cut the meat into cubes, and the pumpkin into large cubes. Chop the onion, carrots, and potatoes coarsely. Finely mince the garlic, but not too finely.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Pour a little oil into the multicooker bowl, sauté the onion and carrots in "Frying" or "Baking" mode for 5-10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

While the onion and carrots are frying, you can sauté the pork in a pan to save time. Over high heat, sear the meat in oil on all sides for about 5–10 minutes. Alternatively, if you're not in a hurry, you can brown it in a multicooker (preferably without vegetables).

    Step 4

Transfer the fried meat to the multicooker with the onion and carrots. Turn on the "Stewing" mode for one hour, and pour in about a cup of water (you can use vegetable broth) to cover the meat. After 30 minutes, add the potatoes and pumpkin.

    Step 5

Cook with the lid closed until the sound signal. The pumpkin may become very soft and turn into a puree. Serve the ready pork with potatoes in a multicooker with vegetables.
