Armenian-style potatoes
Description
Armenian-style potatoes are one of my family's favorite dishes. It seems like such a simple recipe—just baked potatoes—but combined with spicy curry and garlic, it turns out absolutely delicious. Sharing the recipe with you.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, peel the potatoes. Wash them thoroughly and slice them thinly, about a couple of millimeters thick.
- 2
Step 2

Rinse the potatoes several times in cold water to remove the starch. The more times you rinse, the crispier the potatoes will turn out.
- 3
Step 3

Now you need to prepare the marinade. Peel the garlic, press it through a garlic press, add vegetable oil and spicy curry. Mix everything thoroughly.
- 4
Step 4

Dry the potatoes with a towel. This will prevent them from sticking to the pan and help them keep an attractive appearance.
- 5
Step 5

Pour the marinade over the potatoes, add salt, and mix everything thoroughly. Each potato slice should be coated with the marinade. The potatoes should turn a bright yellow color from the curry. Transfer the potatoes to a baking dish.

Step 6

Place the dish in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 20–40 minutes. Cooking time depends on the amount of potatoes.
