
Baked potatoes with bacon
Description
If guests have arrived and you only have potatoes, bacon, and garlic at home, don't worry. You can still make a delicious dish—quickly and very tasty.

1. Prepare the ingredients. Wash the potatoes well, but do not peel them—we'll cook them in their skins. Cut each potato in half. If your salted pork fat has a streak of meat, that's great, but it will work fine without meat too. Remove excess salt from the fat and cut it into 12 pieces, one for each potato half. Pour some salt onto a flat plate. Crush the garlic using a garlic press. Dip one potato half into the salt, and rub the other half with garlic. Place a piece of fat onto one potato half and cover it with the other half, forming a whole potato.

2. Cut large pieces of foil and fold them into two layers. Wrap each potato in foil.

3. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees in advance. Place the baking sheet with potatoes in the oven and bake for 50 minutes. Check the doneness of the potatoes with a toothpick. If it goes in easily, the potatoes are ready. Serve the potatoes with lard, black bread, and vegetables. A fantastic dinner is ready.
