Currywurst
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The recipe I'm offering you is perhaps the simplest option, provided you have Worcestershire sauce on hand. If you don't have any, you'll have to look for a more complex option. It's best to use regular tomato ketchup so it doesn't overpower the sauce's aroma. If the sauce turns out too thick, pour in a bit more wine. And if it seems a bit sour, add a little sugar and salt to taste. Serve the appetizer with the meal.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Heat a skillet with vegetable oil and fry the sausages on all sides. I used regular sausages, peeled them, and scored them all over. Transfer the sausages to a plate.
- 3
Step 3

Finely chop the onion and sauté it in a hot skillet after the sausages for 5–7 minutes until softened.
- 4
Step 4

Add tomato ketchup to the pan with the onion.
- 5
Step 5

Pour the Worcestershire sauce into the skillet.
- 6
Step 6

Sprinkle the curry powder into the skillet.
- 7
Step 7

Pour in the white wine and mix.
- 8
Step 8

Prepare the sauce over low heat for 1-2 minutes, stirring.
- 9
Step 9

Remove the sauce from the heat and pour it over the fried sausages. Sprinkle curry powder on top, but I don’t do that. We already have enough heat.
