Karelian pastries
Description
The baking is simple and quick. I first tried these buns while vacationing in Karelia. I really liked them, so I decided to make them myself. At first, they didn't turn out very pretty—the shape is quite specific. To prepare Karelian buns, we'll cook rice in milk; the filling should be moist. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
