Carp baked in a pouch in the oven
Description
To prepare this dish, you can use one crucian carp weighing about 1 kg, or you can use small crucian carps that your husband brought from fishing (they actually taste even better!). Baked crucian carp in an oven bag can be served with any side dish, but I prefer to use the same vegetables that the fish was baked with as the side dish—it's the perfect option. So, take a look,
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Scale the crucian carps, remove the innards, fins, and gills. You don't need to remove the heads of small crucian carps. Rinse the fish thoroughly.

Step 2

Cut the onion into half-rings, and slice the carrot into thin strips. You can grate the carrot on a coarse grater, but cutting it into strips will make its flavor more pronounced in the finished dish.

Step 3

Place half of the onion into a roasting bag, then add the crucian carps, followed by the remaining onion and carrots. Sprinkle with your favorite fish seasonings, salt and pepper to taste. Seal the ends of the roasting bag and bake in the oven for 40 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.

Step 4

10 minutes before ready, cut open the pouch and keep in the oven until the top of the dish is nicely browned.

Step 5

The baked crucian carp is ready. Serve hot and enjoy!
