Carp in mayonnaise baked in the oven
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. I really love fish, but when frying it in a pan, you end up splattering grease all over the stove. Baking in the oven, however, is easier, tastier, and healthier. I know a simple recipe for baking crucian carp in mayonnaise: 1. Take crucian carp—I use 4 fish, one per family member—clean and gut them. It's important to remove the innards from the head area to avoid squeezing the gall bladder, otherwise the fish will taste bitter. Remove the gills and thoroughly rinse the fish under cold running water. Let the water drain off. 2. Season the fish with salt and pepper both inside and out. Pour some vegetable oil onto a frying pan or baking tray, place sliced onions in rings, then lay the fish on top. This prevents the fish from sticking. Place more onion rings on top of the fish and cover generously with mayonnaise. For 4 fish, each about 30 centimeters in size, I use 200 grams of mayonnaise. 3. Place in the oven at 200°C (392°F) and bake for 25 minutes. Then turn off the oven and let the fish sit inside for another 5 minutes. Meanwhile, slice tomatoes and cucumbers. Take out the beautifully cooked fish, garnish with dill and parsley sprigs, lemon slices, and serve. The crucian carp in mayonnaise turns out delicious even when cooled. The dish is ready to be served.
