
Carp in foil, baked in the oven

The crucian carp will spend no more than half an hour in the oven, so this dish is perfect for those who like quick cooking. The finished dish can be served immediately.

1. Here is the complete set of ingredients you will need. First of all, turn on the oven so it can preheat to 200 degrees.

2. Wash the fish, dry it, and clean if necessary. Rub salt and pepper on all sides and inside.

3. Peel the carrots and onions and chop them finely.

4. Wash the lemon. Slice 4-5 thin rounds and then dice into small cubes (the amount of lemon depends on your taste preferences).

5. Combine onion, carrots, and lemon. Add a pinch of salt and, if desired, sugar. Mix well and place the filling into the cavity.

6. Make several shallow cuts on top and insert lemon into them. The remaining juice can be used to drizzle over the crucian carp.

7. Prepare a sheet of foil and place it on a baking tray. Lightly grease with vegetable oil. Place the fish and vegetables on it, if not all the vegetables fit inside the fish cavity. Wrap the foil into a sealed packet and put the tray in the oven for about 20 minutes. Then carefully remove the foil and bake the fish for another 5-7 minutes to brown it.
