
Caramel Nut Cake

1. Prepare all the necessary ingredients for the shortbread base.

2. Pour the flour into a bowl, rub it with the butter. Add the powdered sugar, egg yolk, and water. Knead the dough.

3. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

4. Roll out the dough to the size of the pan. Evenly spread the dough in the pan, forming raised edges. Prick the bottom with a fork.

5. Line the baking form with parchment paper, fill it with ceramic beads, beans, or any other pie weights. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes. Then remove the pie weight and return to the oven for another 15 minutes.

7. Roast the nuts in the oven, then peel off the skins. Evenly distribute the nuts into the mold.

8. Mix the sugar, butter, 2/3 of the cream, and vanilla. Place over heat and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 8 minutes until the caramel becomes thick and golden.
