Cabbage casserole with minced meat
Description
I personally really enjoy this dish for its excellent taste—it turns out very juicy, and even if you're not particularly fond of cabbage, by following this simple recipe for cabbage casserole with minced meat, you'll make it soft and tender. Let's get started: 1. First, prepare the ingredients. Set the minced meat aside to defrost. Finely chop the onion, cabbage, and carrots, but don't mix them yet. Lightly beat the eggs in a bowl. 2. Heat two frying pans with oil. Sauté the onion in one pan until soft, and cook the carrots in the other until done. 3. Add the minced meat to the onion and cook under a lid for about 15 minutes. To the carrots, add the cabbage, then simmer on low heat, adding a little water. 4. Season both pans with salt, pepper, and spices. Mix well. Preheat the oven. 5. For our cabbage casserole with minced meat, place about half of the cabbage mixture into a baking dish and spread sour cream over it. 6. Place the minced meat on top, then pour the beaten eggs over it. It's important that the meat isn't too hot at this point, otherwise the eggs will curdle immediately. 7. Add the remaining cabbage on top of the meat, then cover everything with sour cream. Sprinkle with herbs or grated cheese—whatever you have on hand—and place in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes. That's it! This cabbage casserole with minced meat will surely delight you and your guests. Even those who previously turned their noses up at cabbage will, I'm sure, change their minds :)
