Cabbage stewed with sour cream
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. You can braise not only white cabbage but also cauliflower. To prepare cauliflower stewed in sour cream, you will need cauliflower (by the way, you can use frozen), as well as sour cream (15-20% fat content). You may optionally add other vegetables. Serve the finished dish at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, break the cauliflower into florets and boil them in salted boiling water. Cook for a short time—about 5 minutes. While the cauliflower is cooking, chop the onion and carrot, then sauté them in oil in a frying pan.
- 2
Step 2

When the vegetables become soft and acquire a slightly golden color, add the cabbage. Add spices (to taste) and sour cream. Mix everything.
- 3
Step 3

Fry for about 5-7 minutes. If the sour cream is too thick, add a little water to taste. But just a little.
- 4
Step 4

Chop the herbs and add them to the cabbage, mix — and you can turn it off now.

Step 5

You can serve the ready stewed cabbage with sour cream, black bread, or even without a side dish.
