With this ratio, the cabbage will taste best. Here is the preparation process step by step: 1. Wash the cabbage in cold water. Remove any spoiled leaves and pat dry with paper towels. Shred finely into a bowl. 2. Peel the carrots and grate them. Add to the bowl with the cabbage. 3. Wash the apples, cut into wedges, and remove the seeds. 4. Make the brine. Boil salted water. 5. While the water is boiling, scald the jars. 6. Mix the carrots and cabbage thoroughly. Pack tightly into the scalded jars. 7. Distribute the apple wedges evenly among the jars. 8. Pour the brine into the jars. Cover with lids and turn upside down until cooled. 10. When the jar has cooled, store it in a cool place. 11. After a week, you can try the first batch.
