Cabbage with onions
Description
A tasty appetizer for any gathering. I tried this cabbage-with-onion recipe on a trip to the dacha when one guest begged for sauerkraut. We decided to surprise him and went to the vegetable beds. Since then, cabbage with onion has been a staple at our summer feasts. For it to taste good, be sure to taste the marinade—you should adjust it to your liking. I've shared my version, but you may want to change something in it. While the cabbage is marinating, it's a good idea to weigh it down with something heavy; it will turn out even better. In short, read on. It can be served warm or chilled.
