Sweet cannelloni
Description
Essentially, the recipe for sweet cannelloni differs only slightly from the classic version. 1. First, prepare the filling. Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve and mix it with sugar. 2. Wash the strawberries, dry them, remove the stems, and cut them into 4–6 pieces, depending on their size. 3. Set aside a handful of berries in a separate bowl, add a little sugar, and mash them with a fork or potato masher. 4. Add the berries to the cottage cheese, then beat in 2 eggs. Mix thoroughly. If the filling turns out too runny, add a couple of tablespoons of semolina. 5. Stuff the cannelloni with the filling and place them into a greased ovenproof dish. 6. Mix the sour cream with the strawberry syrup, stirring well. If desired, you can use any berry syrup of your choice for the sweet cannelloni. 7. Pour the sauce over the cannelloni, cover the dish with foil, and place it in a preheated oven. 8. After about 20 minutes, remove the foil and continue baking until a golden, appetizing crust forms.
