
Cannelloni with cottage cheese and cheese
Description
The recipe won't take much time. You can make cannelloni with cottage cheese and cheese at home in two versions—sweet or savory. In the first case, you can add dried fruits to the filling and get an excellent dessert for both adults and children. The second version is presented in this recipe, although you can also enhance it with your favorite spices or vegetables if desired. Serve hot.

1. First, prepare the cannelloni and a pot of water, which needs to be brought to a boil.

2. Place the cannelloni in a pot for 2-3 minutes, then drain the water and let cool slightly.

3. While the cannelloni are cooking and cooling, you can prepare the filling. Essentially, the recipe for cannelloni with cottage cheese and cheese is a quick and easy version. Place the cottage cheese into a small bowl and mash it with a fork (if desired, you can press it through a sieve). Season with salt and pepper to taste. Finely chop the fresh herbs, previously washed and dried, and add them to the filling as well. Depending on the dryness of the cottage cheese, add 1–3 tablespoons of sour cream.

4. Grate the cheese and add one-third of it to the filling.

5. Place thinly sliced butter on the bottom of the baking dish. Using a pastry bag or a regular cellophane bag with one corner cut off, fill the cannelloni with the filling.

6. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. If desired, homemade cannelloni with cottage cheese and cheese can be supplemented with béchamel sauce. Place the dish in a preheated oven for about 15 minutes. Since the filling is already cooked, the dish just needs to develop an appetizing crust.
