Description
This is perhaps the most original way to prepare sausage appetizers. It works wonderfully for dressing up the table. These boot-shaped snacks are a lot of fun to make with children. I recommend choosing sausages that are not too long, since you can make at most two boots from one sausage—the ends of the sausage are needed for the toes. Serve the appetizer at the table.

Step 1
1. All you need to prepare this appetizer is to cut the sausages correctly. First, cut approximately 2 cm off the end of the sausage at an angle—this will be the toe of the boot.

2. Then from the cut end, trim off about 3 cm of the sausage; this will be the top part of the boot. Then secure both parts with a toothpick and spread cream cheese on the top.

3. Serve on lettuce leaves, adding cherry tomatoes.
