
Canapés with Cheese, Avocado and Salmon
Description
Treat yourself to delicious salmon canapés even when it's not a holiday or feast! They pair wonderfully with chilled white wine or beer. Canapés are best served right away, and if you get friends and family involved in making them, the dish will be ready in just minutes. You can serve them warm or chilled.

Prepare the listed ingredients. Buy hard cheese of any variety, and for the red fish use lightly salted salmon. If you wish, you can salt it yourself at home in advance.

Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop the flesh into a salad bowl or small bowl, squeeze in the lemon juice, and add a pinch of salt. Mash the flesh thoroughly with a fork until smooth.

Place the croutons on a plate, board, or dish. They can be replaced with bread croutons.

Cut hard cheese of any variety into cubes or strips the same size as the croutons. Place the cheese on top of them.

Pipe the avocado puree into a pastry bag or piping bag and pipe it onto the cheese.

Cut the lightly salted salmon into long strips 1–1.5 cm wide and roll into rose shapes. Arrange on the avocado cream.
