Canapés with Salmon and Cheese
Description
A delicious appetizer for any gathering. Overall, this simple salmon and cheese canapé recipe remains one of my very favorites—the combination is so spot-on, don’t you agree! But best of all: learn how to make salmon and cheese canapés, try them yourself, and then you can agree! I sometimes use olives instead of cranberries and spear the small canapés with toothpicks—that’s also very tasty and looks beautiful. Be sure to try them. Serve with herbs and sauce.

Step 1

1. I was making New Year’s canapés, so I cut the bread into Christmas tree shapes (children’s cookie cutters are perfect for this). I rubbed the bread with spices.

Step 2

2. Brush each piece with cheese. I mixed the cheese with chopped herbs separately, but that’s optional.

4. Next — the fish, and I also topped the canapés with cranberries. Done!
