Canapés with fruit and prosciutto
Description
Suitable for both holidays and everyday meals. For fruit and prosciutto canapés, I use fresh apples, melon, canned watermelon, and peaches. Sometimes in winter you can find fresh peaches, but canned ones are better. 1. Wash the mint leaves thoroughly. Set aside. 2. Cut the melon flesh and canned watermelon into cubes. Cut the apple and peaches into wedges. 3. Wrap the apple and peaches in slices of prosciutto. 4. Roll the remaining slices into tubes and secure them on top of the watermelon and melon pieces. 5. Place mint leaves on top. Your fruit and prosciutto canapés are ready! Instead of canned watermelon, you can use orange—it cuts well into both chunks and slices. You can replace the peaches with pineapple. Consider what you have on hand and what you prefer. Remember that prosciutto pairs wonderfully with all fruits, even grapes. By the way, that’s another good idea—make a few canapés with grapes and prosciutto. Experiment! The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.
