Red Fish Canapés
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Red fish is incredibly delicious on its own and doesn't need many accompanying ingredients. So to make red fish canapés, you'll need a little low-fat mayonnaise (you can substitute cream cheese or feta—it works well too), a couple of slices of toast bread, and lettuce leaves (I sometimes swap them for arugula, which pairs great with salmon, for example). The appetizer is ready. Serve right away.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients.

Step 2

Cut the bread into triangles. If you have a little extra time, toast it in a dry skillet—it will taste even better.
- 3
Step 3

Spread each piece with mayonnaise.
- 4
Step 4

Rinse the lettuce leaves and tear them by hand into small pieces (each piece should be slightly larger than bite-sized bread pieces). Place on top.

Step 5

Cut the fish into strips, roll into small rolls, and place on top of the salad. Secure the canapés with toothpicks. Your red fish canapés are ready.
