
Flounder in the microwave

Fish cooks perfectly in a microwave, and while it's cooking, you can prepare a delicious sauce or a fresh vegetable salad. You can cook fish in a microwave in various ways. If you prefer boiled fish, use this recipe for cooking flounder in the microwave. The recipe is quite simple, and once you've tried it, you'll find yourself using it often. However, microwaves vary, and they work differently. Therefore, when cooking fish in your microwave for the first time, adjust the cooking time shorter or longer as needed. Peel the carrot and slice it into thin rounds.

Peel the onion and slice it into half-rings.

In a glass container suitable for microwave cooking, pour in vegetable oil and water, then add the prepared onion and carrot. Cover with a lid, place in the microwave, and cook at maximum power for 5 minutes. If the carrot is still hard after cooking, continue for a couple more minutes.

Clean the flounder and remove the skin. Lightly season with salt and sprinkle with lemon juice. Season with fish spices and place over the vegetables. Position the thicker edges of the fish closer to the outer edge. Cover the dish with a lid and place in the microwave. Cook for 6-7 minutes. After cooking, leave the fish in the microwave for another 5 minutes.
