
Squid in cream
Description
The key to preparing this dish is not to overcook the squid, otherwise they will become rubbery. Squid with cream is a classic combination, so it's always a success. It is served with mashed potatoes, vegetable salads, or simply with grilled vegetables, as well as with pasta or spaghetti. The recipe requires a minimal set of ingredients and is quick and easy to prepare.

1. Squid are often sold frozen in our stores, so first, thaw the seafood at room temperature. Pour boiling water over the bodies, then easily and quickly remove the skin, rinse, and slice into thin strips.

2. Peel, wash, and dice the onion. Sauté the onion in a pan with butter until golden brown.

3. As soon as the onion is browned, add the squid strips, mix and fry for two minutes over medium heat.

4. Thinly pour the cream into the squid, season lightly with salt, cover with a lid, and cook over the lowest heat for no more than three minutes. Turn off the heat and let it sit for another minute, after which the squid will be ready to serve.
