Squid in mayonnaise
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. In this recipe, squid is stewed in mayonnaise sauce. Both store-bought and homemade mayonnaise work well for this purpose. I often make mayonnaise myself, using eggs, vegetable oil, and mustard. But today I decided to use up the leftovers from two packs of store-bought mayonnaise, as they had been sitting around for quite a while after the holidays. The finished dish can now be served.

Step 1

Let's move on to the most difficult first step. Clean the squid from its innards, pour boiling water over it, then carefully remove the skin without damaging anything. Rinse and place the squid onto a plate.

Step 2

Place the squid body into a pot and pour water over it. As soon as the water begins to boil, remove the squid. It does not need to be cooked for long.

Step 3

Cut the boiled squid fillet into strips. On another cutting board, chop the onion into cubes.

Step 4

Fry the onion in a pan with vegetable oil for 15 minutes. Then add the cut squid to the onion. Add salt and spices to taste. Mix well.
