
Squid with vegetables in sour cream sauce
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Squid with vegetables and sour cream sauce is a very tasty and tender dish. Preparation: Blanch the squid, remove the outer membrane, and rinse under cold water. Boil the squid in boiling water, slightly cool, then cut into pieces. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the squid for 5 minutes. Shred the carrots, chop the onion, add the vegetables to the skillet, and sauté in vegetable oil. Add a little water to the vegetables and simmer until tender. Season with salt to taste and add ground cloves. To prepare the sour cream sauce, fry the flour in vegetable oil until light golden color. Add sour cream and mix well. Add hot water, salt, sugar, and cook over low heat for 8–10 minutes, stirring constantly. The sauce should have the consistency of pancake batter. Combine the fried squid with carrots and onions. Pour over the sour cream sauce, transfer to the oven, and bake for 10–15 minutes. Serve the dish hot.
