Zucchini in the microwave

Description

Incredibly simple and delicious dish. Zucchini is a very tasty vegetable on its own—it doesn't need many spices, just a pinch of salt and the delicious dish is ready. Zucchini goes well with any kind of meat and vegetables. It's especially tasty when topped with sour cream and cheese. Thanks to the microwave oven, you don't need to spend a long time standing by the stove.

    1. Choose not very large zucchini, wash them thoroughly and dry with paper towels. Cut off the stem and blossom ends, then slice into rounds about one centimeter thick, but no more. Transfer to a bowl, add salt, and let sit for 15–20 minutes to draw out the moisture.

    2. Grate the hard cheese finely on a fine grater; you can also use processed cheese if desired.

    3. Grease a plate or baking dish with sunflower oil, then arrange the zucchini in a single layer, sprinkle with some grated cheese, and top with a little sour cream.
