Zucchini with ham and cheese
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. How nice it is to treat your family to a delicious meal, especially when it's so easy to make. Indeed, this simple recipe for zucchini with ham and cheese won't take much time or effort—no more than half an hour in total. I usually prepare this dish for lunch or dinner, and sometimes even serve zucchini with ham and cheese at home during celebrations, and every time guests are delighted. 1) First, grate the carrots and finely chop the onion. Sauté the vegetables in vegetable oil until soft, then season with salt and pepper to taste. 2) Slice the zucchini into pieces about 1 cm thick, then fry them over high heat until golden brown. 3) While the zucchini are frying, cut the ham into small strips and grate the cheese on a coarse grater. 4) Place the fried zucchini slices onto a baking tray, top each with the sautéed carrot and onion mixture, add ham pieces, and sprinkle everything generously with grated cheese. 5) Put the tray into a preheated oven at 180–200°C and bake for no more than 10–15 minutes, until the cheese has melted. These zucchini are best enjoyed hot, although they are quite tasty even when cold. Serve and enjoy your meal!
