
Zucchini with Honey
Description

For this appetizer, choose young zucchini with thin, tender skin and no thick seeds forming. Zucchini can be cut different ways—into rounds, sticks, or slices. The main thing is to slice them as thin as possible. The dish turns out incredibly aromatic, juicy, and tempting! It works perfectly as both a light appetizer and a vegetable side dish. Try it. Prepare all ingredients.

Cut the zucchini into thin slices or half-moons, add 1/2 tsp salt, mix, and let sit for 30 minutes so they release their juices.

Grate the carrots on a special grater or cut them into thin matchsticks. Add 1–2 pinches of salt to the carrots, mix, and leave for 30 minutes as well so they release their juice.

Meanwhile, prepare the dressing. Combine the soy sauce, honey, pepper, vinegar, and garlic passed through a press. Mix thoroughly.

Then rinse the zucchini under cold water and squeeze out the excess moisture.

Squeeze the carrot and add it to the zucchini.

Add the chopped herbs to the vegetables.

Over high heat, heat the vegetable oil until white smoke appears, reduce the heat, and add sesame seeds. Toast them for about 30 seconds until golden and pour the mixture of hot oil and sesame seeds over the vegetables.
