Kiev-Style Zucchini
Description
Homemade preserves keep for a long time. Kiev-style zucchini is an excellent spicy appetizer that you can put up for winter. When making Kiev-style zucchini, the main thing is to fry the zucchini carefully until golden and watch so they do not burn. Pack the Kiev-style zucchini tightly into dry jars, layering with garlic and herbs. You can add any other herbs to your taste. Make the marinade: add vinegar, oil, and salt to taste to hot water (half a glass); it should be similar to brine. Sterilize the jars of Kiev-style zucchini in boiling water for 15–20 minutes. Store in a cool, dark place.
