Julienne in a bun
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Cut the onion into thin half-rings and simmer over low heat in a small amount of vegetable oil. It should become soft, translucent, and reduce in volume by 3–4 times, but must not change color at all; otherwise, the casserole will taste bitter and acquire the smell of fried onion. Add a spoonful of flour to the cooked onions, mix well, and remove from heat. Cook the chicken meat until done and shred into fibers. In a separate bowl, combine the chicken, onions, sour cream, and spices. Cut off the top of the bread roll and remove the crumb, leaving about 0.5 cm thick walls. Fill the roll with the mixture. Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Place in a preheated oven at 180°C or in the microwave, and cook until the cheese melts. Serve the finished dish immediately.
