Description

It's not like anyone in our family is a fan of French cuisine, but we make this chicken julienne in a multicooker at home quite often. This dish is quite filling and high in calories, yet it has such a delicate flavor that it's hard to resist enjoying it. And the recipe for preparing chicken julienne in a multicooker is almost no different from the classic version; however, in my opinion, making this dish in a multicooker is much more convenient and easier.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

First, we rinse the fillet under running water and place it in salted water to boil until fully cooked. While the meat is cooking, we wash, peel, and cut the white mushrooms into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Next, place the butter into the multicooker bowl and set it to the "Baking" mode for 40 minutes. Once the butter has melted, add the sliced mushrooms to the bowl, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for 20 minutes with the lid closed, stirring occasionally.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Then transfer the fried mushrooms to a clean plate, and place the onion cut into half-rings into the multicooker; fry until translucent (8–10 minutes).

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Once the chicken breast is cooked, let it cool and cut it into small pieces.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

Now transfer the fried onion to a clean plate and wipe the multicooker bowl. Pour a little vegetable or butter oil into it, add flour, and fry, stirring constantly, for 2-3 minutes.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

Add the sour cream to the flour, mix well, and heat until the sour cream thickens.

  7. 7

    Step 7

    Step 7

Start adding hot water to the resulting mixture one tablespoon at a time, thoroughly stirring the sauce each time. Add enough water so that the sauce reaches the consistency of liquid sour cream. Bring the mixture to a boil, then pour it into a jar and cover with a lid.

  8. 8

    Step 8

    Step 8

So, let's proceed directly to preparing the juliene. Wipe the multicooker bowl dry and grease it with vegetable oil, then place the sliced meat on the bottom.

  9. 9

    Step 9

    Step 9

Place the fried onion evenly over the chicken.

  10. 10

    Step 10

    Step 10

And on the onion, we place the mushrooms.

  11. 11

    Step 11

    Step 11

Pour the prepared sauce over everything; by the way, you can season the sauce with a little salt and pepper. On top, sprinkle the sauce with cheese grated on a coarse grater, mixed with breadcrumbs.

  12. 12

    Step 12

    Step 12

Close the multicooker lid and set it to the "Baking" mode for 30 minutes. When the cycle is complete, open the lid and let the gratin cool down slightly.

  13. 13

    Step 13

    Step 13

Then, directly in the bowl, cut it into portions using a wooden spatula, carefully transfer onto a plate, and serve. Enjoy your meal, everyone!
