Mushroom and Cheese Julienne

Description

Julienne can be served as a hot appetizer. If you're not very hungry, you can enjoy it as a main dish. My guests love these simple mushrooms in creamy sauce so much that they ask me to prepare them at almost every celebration! Sharing the recipe with you.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

Preheat the oven to 190 degrees.

  2. 2

    Step 2

Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a frying pan.

  3. 3

    Step 3

Add the thinly sliced mushrooms and onions to the butter. Sauté over medium heat until the mushrooms have reduced in size and the onions have softened.

  4. 4

    Step 4

Drain the accumulated juice and divide the onion-mushroom mixture into 4-6 portions (depending on the number of molds you have).

  5. 5

    Step 5

In a small saucepan, add the remaining oil (1 tablespoon) and pour in the wine. Simmer over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.

  6. 6

    Step 6

Then add sour cream and heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste (don't be afraid to taste). Cook, stirring, until the sauce is completely smooth.

  7. 7

    Step 7

Bring the sauce to a boil, then pour it over the mushrooms and onions in the molds.

  8. 8

    Step 8

Sprinkle the contents of the molds with grated (coarsely) cheese, and on top place slices of sliced tomatoes.

  9. 9

    Step 9

Bake for 10 minutes (or until the cheese melts and turns golden brown).
