Mushroom julienne (traditional recipe)

30 min4 serv.20 февр. 2026 г.

Description

This dish works perfectly as a hot appetizer, but can also be served as a main course. You can optionally add your favorite meat, such as chicken, to the recipe. Also, don't skimp on nutmeg and fresh herbs.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

To prepare mushroom julienne, wash the mushrooms and peel them if necessary. Then cut the mushrooms into medium-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Step 2

Place the mushrooms in a hot skillet and sauté until all the liquid has evaporated. Then add vegetable oil and salt, and continue cooking until the mushrooms develop a golden-brown crust. This will take approximately 5–7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Step 3

Next, distribute the mushrooms into the molds. Add butter and flour to a preheated skillet, and sauté, stirring constantly, until the mixture becomes smooth. Then add milk and spices, mix thoroughly, and wait until the sauce thickens.

  4. 4

    Step 4

Pour the sauce over the mushrooms, then sprinkle with grated cheese on top. Place in the oven preheated to 200 degrees. Bake for 15 minutes. The traditional mushroom julienne is ready.
