
Turkey gizzards
Description
The recipe won't take much time. To prepare turkey gizzards, you'll need the following ingredients: onion, garlic, green onion, dill, and parsley. Buckwheat porridge goes well as a side dish for turkey gizzards. Serve hot.

1. Rinse the gizzards thoroughly, check for any yellowish tough membranes, and remove them if present. Boil the gizzards in salted water (slightly under-salted) until tender. This takes about one hour.

2. Peel the onion, finely chop it, and sauté in a large frying pan until golden brown.

3. Cut the gizzards into small pieces, then add them to the pan with the onion.

4. Now pour the broth in which the gizzards were boiled into the skillet, cover with a lid, and simmer for about thirty minutes over low heat. If the broth evaporates, you can add more.

5. About five minutes before the end of cooking, add the soy sauce and previously finely chopped garlic. Mix well.

6. Serve the gizzards hot, sprinkled with chopped fresh herbs.
