Jelly candies
Description
The recipe won't take much time. This simple jelly candy recipe works well not only with fresh berries or fruits, but also with frozen ones. These sweets are a perfect alternative to store-bought candies, which contain far more preservatives than natural ingredients. Serve chilled.
Instructions

Step 1

1. First, wash the pears thoroughly, dry them slightly, and cut into 4-6 pieces. This jelly candy recipe can also be used for other fruits or berries.
- 2
Step 2

2. Pour a little water into a saucepan and place the pears over heat. Simmer gently until soft. For juicier fruits, water may not be needed at all. If desired, white dry wine can be used instead of water.
- 3
Step 3

3. Soft pears should be mashed using a blender or potato masher, then strained through a fine sieve.
- 4
Step 4

4. Transfer the strained puree to a saucepan and place over heat. Add sugar to taste (depending on the sweetness of the fruit and personal preference) and cook for about 5 minutes over low heat, stirring, until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Step 5

5. Soak the gelatin in water for several minutes. Then add it to the hot puree and mix thoroughly. If the gelatin has not completely dissolved, you can place the puree over heat and warm it slightly, but do not bring to a boil. Pour the resulting mixture into a mold previously lined with parchment paper.

Step 6

6. The jelly should set completely and hold its shape well.
- 7
Step 7

7. Sprinkle the work surface with sugar, place the jelly sheet on it, and sprinkle a little more sugar on top.
- 8
Step 8

8. Homemade jelly candies can be cut with a knife or shaped using cookie cutters. Then it's best to leave them for a while to dry slightly before serving.
