Mosaic Jelly
Description
In my opinion, this jelly is simply amazing, and every time I make it, I inexplicably get wildly excited— I just love how it looks when sliced. Now I'd like to share with you the classic recipe for Mosaic Jelly, which we'll prepare using store-bought dry jelly packets. Of course, you could make colored jelly from scratch, but I believe the store-bought version is just as good as homemade. And if you have kids, you simply can't think of a better treat for them; plus, this dessert will look fantastic on any festive table. Interested? Then I'll gladly show you how to make Mosaic Jelly at home.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Take three packs of store-bought jelly. I'm using kiwi, cherry, and apricot, but you can choose any flavors you like—just make sure the colors are bright.
- 2
Step 2

Now prepare the jelly in separate molds according to the instructions. However, since we need the jelly to be denser and more elastic, we reduce the amount of water from 250 ml to 200 ml. Place in the refrigerator.
- 3
Step 3

Meanwhile, pour 300 ml of water into a deep container and add 40 grams of gelatin. Let the gelatin swell.
- 4
Step 4

When our colored jelly has set, cut it into small cubes with sides of 1.5-2 centimeters and place them into molds. It already looks very beautiful :)
- 5
Step 5

Place the saucepan with gelatin over low heat and warm it, stirring constantly, but do not bring to a boil. We need the granules to dissolve completely.
- 6
Step 6

In a separate container, mix the sour cream and sugar. Beat thoroughly.
- 7
Step 7

Add the gelatin and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
- 8
Step 8

Pour the sour cream mixture into molds and place them in the refrigerator for several hours. That's it, actually. I hope you will enjoy this jelly as much as I do. Enjoy your meal!
