Grape jelly for winter
Description
The recipe won't take much time. In winter, it's so nice to lift your spirits with delicious treats made at home from fragrant summer fruits. And if you grow grapes in your garden or simply love them very much, I suggest you try making homemade grape jelly for winter. Unfortunately, I haven't grown my own grapes for quite some time, but still, I always try to prepare at least a few jars of this jelly. I'll be honest with you—this treat, made according to this simple grape jelly recipe, turns out absolutely amazing, and you'll definitely love it. Serve it chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, we remove the grapes from the stems and rinse them under running water, then drain them in a colander so the grapes can dry.
- 2
Step 2

Place the raisins in a saucepan and set it over low heat. Warm the raisins, stirring, for 10–15 minutes, until they become soft and release their juice.
- 3
Step 3

Fold the gauze into several layers and place small portions of the grape mixture onto it. Squeeze out the juice, discard the pomace, and then place another portion of grapes.
- 4
Step 4

Measure the amount of grape juice obtained, pour it into a saucepan, and bring to a boil.
- 5
Step 5

For every 500 ml of juice, add 500 grams of sugar.
- 6
Step 6

Stirring the mixture, continue heating it over medium heat until the sugar granules are completely dissolved; there is no need to bring the juice to a boil.
- 7
Step 7

Turn off the heat and pour the juice into sterilized jars.
- 8
Step 8

Wipe the jar necks carefully and tightly screw on the lids.
- 9
Step 9

Then we sterilize them for 10 minutes, after which we cover the jars with a warm blanket and leave them to cool.
