
Pumpkin and orange jelly
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Pumpkin jelly with orange is a healthy and very delicious dessert. Its bright color instantly whets the appetite and sparks interest. While people don't always like pumpkin in its usual form, as a sweet jelly it will fly off the table. Boil the pumpkin in advance, let it cool, then blend it and mix with orange juice. Combine with regular gelatin to get a delicious jelly. Serve the finished dessert.

Prepare all the ingredients.

Cut the pumpkin into slices and peel off the skin and seeds, if any.

Cut the pumpkin into medium pieces.

Place the pumpkin in a saucepan and pour water over it.

Boil the pumpkin until soft, about 25-30 minutes over medium heat. Let the cooked pumpkin cool. Also, reserve about 100-150 grams of the water in which the pumpkin was boiled.

Squeeze the juice from the oranges, removing any seeds if present.

Dissolve the gelatin in hot water (1 cup). Stir and let it sit for 20 minutes to swell.

Place the pumpkin with the liquid into the blender container and pour in the orange juice.

Blend the pumpkin into a puree.

Add sugar to taste and beat again.
