Prepare all the ingredients.

Blend the currants together with water using a blender.

Strain the resulting mixture through a fine sieve.

Add sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook until the sugar dissolves completely.

Mix a small amount (about 50 ml) of water with agar-agar.

Pour the diluted agar-agar into a saucepan. Bring to a boil again and simmer for about 2 minutes.

Pour the jelly into silicone molds. Refrigerate for a couple of hours to set.
