Blackberry jelly with pink wine
Description
The recipe won't take much time. In a large bowl, pour 2 cups of cold water over gelatin and let it stand for 5 minutes. In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of wine, 3/4 cup of sugar, and 1 cup of blackberries to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Pour the hot wine mixture over the gelatin and remove the blackberries. Add lemon juice and stir the mixture until the gelatin dissolves. Divide 1 cup of blackberries and the gelatin liquid evenly among 4 cups. Cover and refrigerate for 5 hours. In a small bowl, sprinkle 1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar over the remaining blackberries. Add the remaining tablespoon of wine and mix. Dip the bottom of each mold into warm water for 5 seconds. Invert the jellies onto serving plates, garnish with the sugared blackberries, and serve chilled.
