Description

1. Wash the red currants and place them in a saucepan. Add a glass of water and bring to a boil over low heat.

2. While still hot, rub the berries through a sieve directly back into the same saucepan. Add sugar to it and cook over low heat.

3. Boil over low heat for half an hour after the mixture comes to a boil.

4. Sterilize the jars, seal the jelly while hot, and wrap them in a blanket. Then transfer to a cellar or refrigerator.
