Plum jelly for winter
Description
Plum is a very healthy fruit from which you can make amazingly delicious jam. Plums are rich in pectin, so the finished treat turns out thick. Besides pectin, plums contain vitamin C, carotene, and organic acids. So, let's start cooking plum jam. 1. Wash the berries thoroughly, remove the pits, place them into a saucepan, and cover with sugar. 2. Put on the heat and cook in a deep container, stirring constantly and skimming off the foam. 3. After 30 minutes of simmering over low heat, add the previously dissolved gelatin and continue simmering for another 10 minutes. 4. Prepare the jars. Wash them thoroughly; I usually wash them with baking soda and hot water. 5. Once the jam is ready (its readiness can be determined by its thickness), pour it into the jars, seal with sterilized lids, and store in a pantry or dark room until use.
