Chicken stew in a pot
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Vegetables, mushrooms, and bell pepper should be sautéed in oil until tender, and the meat should be fried until it changes color. Then assemble the ingredients in baking pots, add seasonings, pour sauce over the top, and bake in the oven for about an hour. Good luck with your cooking! The finished dish can now be served.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Dice the potatoes and carrots finely, and slice the carrots thinly as well. All ingredients should be cut to the right thickness to ensure they cook properly within 1 hour in the oven.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the mushrooms into small pieces. Slice the bell pepper. I used frozen bell peppers of different colors. It doesn't really matter. Cut the onion into half-rings.
- 3
Step 3

Remove chicken meat from the bone and cut into small pieces. I use meat from the leg and leave the skin on.
- 4
Step 4

Sauté the vegetables in turn in vegetable oil: onion, carrot, bell pepper, mushrooms.
- 5
Step 5

Remove the vegetables from the heat. Transfer them to a dish. On the same skillet, fry the meat. When the meat is slightly seared, season it with salt and pepper.
- 6
Step 6

Place the fried meat into the pot, then add the potato pieces, followed by the sautéed vegetables and canned beans.
- 7
Step 7

In a bowl, mix the cream and sour cream. Season with spices. Pour this dressing over the stew, adding 3–4 tablespoons of the liquid to each casserole dish.
- 8
Step 8

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Grate the hard cheese. Sprinkle the cheese over the stew. Cover the pot with a lid and bake in the oven for about 1 hour.
- 9
Step 9

Serve hot. It is best to eat this stew with a small dessert spoon.
