First, peel the vegetables and slice the onion into half-rings. Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl and set it to the "Frying" or "Baking" mode. Add the sliced onion to the bowl and fry, stirring, until golden brown for 8–10 minutes.

Next, cut the beef into small pieces about 2 cm wide, add the meat to the onion and fry everything together for another 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Season the stew with salt and pepper to taste, add dried herbs and a bay leaf. Close the lid and set the multicooker to the "Stewing" mode. Cook for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
