Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the specified ingredients. Lingonberries can be used either fresh or frozen.
- 2
Step 2

Rinse the lingonberries in water and place them in a kazan or saucepan with a nonstick bottom. Pour in 50 ml of water and simmer for about 5–7 minutes, until all the berries have burst.
- 3
Step 3

Pass the berry pulp through a fine sieve and discard the pomace — it can be used for tea or fruit drink.
- 4
Step 4

Return the warm berry purée to the kazan and add the butter. Squeeze the juice from a small orange.
- 5
Step 5

Add all the seasonings and spices, turn the heat to medium and mix everything together. Simmer on the stove for about 5–6 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

Then chill the sauce for literally 15 minutes — the butter will cool and the sauce will thicken.
- 7
Step 7

When the sauce thickens, spray the pan with vegetable oil and heat it on the stove. Then reduce the heat to medium and add the Camembert. Fry the cheese for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown and soft inside.
- 8
Step 8

Spread the lingonberry sauce on the plate and place the fried Camembert in it. Alternatively, place the cheese on the plate and drizzle it with the sauce, garnish with fresh mint leaves. Enjoy your meal!
