
Fried duck tongues
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Fried duck tongues will be something new in your kitchen. They slightly resemble shellfish in both taste and preparation method. Be sure to try them and treat others too. Serve hot.

1. Rinse the duck tongues and dry with a paper towel.

2. Mix soy sauce, fish sauce, wine, and honey in a bowl. Marinate the chicken tongues in this mixture for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Prepare a bowl with starch, salt, and pepper, add egg white, and also peel and press the garlic into a separate dish.

3. Remove the tongues from the marinade and dry them again with a paper towel. Beat the egg white with a whisk.

4. Mix the tongues with the egg white, drain the remaining liquid. Add starch and salt to the bowl, then mix the tongues again thoroughly. They should be completely coated with starch.

5. Heat a wok over high heat with oil. Add one-tenth of the garlic and sauté lightly (for about one minute).

6. Add the duck tongues and fry, stirring, for 3-4 minutes. The tongues will become golden-brown and crispy. Remove them onto a paper towel.

7. Reduce the heat under the pan to medium-low and sauté the remaining garlic until soft. Add the chili towards the end of cooking. Transfer the cooked garlic onto a paper towel.

8. Place the ready duck tongues on a serving dish, top with garlic and chili, and serve.
